Direct Customer Approach in Staff Leave Management Through Email Automation

Vacationizr, the web-based staff leave management solution from Ashampoo Systems GmbH & Co. KG, needed a way to digitize onboarding and improve direct customer communication and support throughout the customer journey. To provide immediate, personalized guidance after signup and to centralize marketing and sales communications in one tool, they selected the CleverReach email marketing software.

Using CleverReach, the Vacationizr team implemented automated campaigns including a three-part welcome series (welcome, support, and data-processing emails), regular newsletters and re‑engagement mails; integration was quick and the team was trained to build campaigns independently. The results with CleverReach were strong: a 62.80% average open rate for the welcome email, 78% of clicks from the welcome series went to the FAQ (prompting a chatbot addition), a significant increase in user interaction within four weeks, and the ability to run customer recovery measures automatically.
