The University of Michigan, operating a large transportation system in Ann Arbor for the university and Michigan Medical Center, needed a better ITS solution to improve service quality and customer satisfaction. After five years of struggling with a system that did not integrate well with scheduling and required manual driver and dispatcher processes, the university turned to Clever Devices for a more reliable, fully integrated platform.

Clever Devices implemented CleverCAD, BusTime, Ridecheck+, Disruption Management, and CleverReports, giving the University of Michigan real-time passenger information, better scheduling integration, and automated onboard messaging and signage.
