eFarma is the leading online parapharmacy in Italy, offering 40,000+ health and wellness products. Faced with rapidly growing customer data, time-consuming manual merchandising, and a need to improve onsite search relevance and conversion, eFarma selected Clerk.io’s Search & Recommendations (including Merchandising and its CDP) to better understand customer intent and automate merchandising.

Clerk.io implemented AI-driven merchandising, a centralized CDP and intelligent site search with personalized recommendations, enabling automated seasonality and trend-based suggestions. The results were dramatic: 78% of orders were impacted by Clerk, 64% of revenues came from Clerk’s search and recommendation content, average basket size grew 13%, site search drove purchases for 74.8% of customers, customers were 4.9x more likely to convert after using search, and conversion rate rose substantially (356%), with 3.6 more products added per order.
