Large Georgia County, a county government with 34 branches and a 7‑Member Board of Commissioners, faced productivity and security issues from manual, fax‑intensive workflows that relied on 300 analog fax machines and more than 5,000 users. Seeking to automate faxing, reduce costs, and add role‑based security, the county turned to Cleo and selected the Cleo Streem® enterprise fax solution.

Cleo implemented Cleo Streem across the organization, eliminating phone lines and physical fax machines and immediately reducing costs while freeing staff from waiting at shared devices. The solution improved productivity (employees can send/receive faxes and attach scans from their workstations), reduced misplaced faxes and paper use, and added role‑based access for greater security. Cleo’s Streem platform was later expanded to handle the county’s alert and notification needs (fax, voice, email, text), streamlining communications for the county’s 300 machines/5,000 users and lowering IT management overhead.
