Royal Talens - Customer Case Study

Royal Talens, a multinational maker of painting and drawing supplies, needed a reliable global ordering and EDI system to process orders quickly and ensure the right shipments reached its DCs in Spain, Switzerland and the US. To meet that challenge they worked with ECS International and implemented Cleo’s VLTrader AS2-based EDI/Managed Transfer solution to support fast, secure order, packing list and invoice exchanges integrated with their ERP.

Cleo’s solution replaced expensive VANs with an AS2-based VLTrader system integrated into Royal Talens’ ERP, delivering a secured Managed Transfer System and “enormous” cost reductions while speeding order processing and partner onboarding. The implementation gave Royal Talens a responsive support partner for rapid configuration changes, improved data routing to regional DCs, and laid groundwork for further integrations (for example, ERP-to-Amazon API work) that continue to streamline operations.
