Retail manufacturer enhances business processes with Cleo

Richlu Manufacturing, a Winnipeg-based retail and apparel manufacturer serving workers in extreme conditions, needed to speed partner onboarding and meet industry EDI standards after its prior EDI vendor couldn’t deliver acceptable turnaround times. After evaluating six vendors, Richlu selected Cleo and adopted Cleo Integration Cloud to modernize its EDI operations and support ongoing growth.

Cleo implemented Cleo Integration Cloud using VAN and AS2, transforming and mapping common EDI documents (850, 855, 860, 856, 810, 824, 846) and supporting standards 4010 and 5010 for roughly 8,000 monthly transactions. The result: onboarding that previously took over 14 weeks was reduced to under two weeks for a major partner, along with measurable gains—error resolution tracking and reporting, elimination of non-compliance fines, lower hardware/software and consulting costs, improved data accuracy and analytics, and higher customer satisfaction driven by Cleo.
