Kimball Electronics, a global electronics manufacturing services (EMS) provider, needed to replace legacy FTP systems and support a wide range of secure communications across its manufacturing footprint — including FTP, SFTP, AS2 (with TLSv1.2), and SAP document ingestion — while decentralizing user and partner administration. Cleo implemented the Cleo Integration Cloud to consolidate Kimball’s disparate FTP tools, provide a self-service web portal, and streamline workflows into SAP and other systems. The deployment simplified administration, decentralized partner/user setup, reduced business-partner and user support calls significantly, and improved ease of use for nontechnical users — delivering faster, more reliable data flows and a noticeably happier customer base under Cleo’s platform.
