Case Study: AT&T achieves FTC compliance and reliable high‑speed mass audio transfers with Cleo Integration Cloud

A Cleo Case Study

Preview of the AT&T Case Study

AT&T uses Cleo Integration Cloud™ to reliably transfer audio data en masse, maintain FTC compliance

AT&T faced an urgent Federal Trade Commission mandate to retain and centralize millions of call recordings from its outsourced call center partners, but its legacy homegrown and incumbent file‑transfer architecture could not reliably move large files (up to 100 MB) or the nightly volumes generated across 17 external vendors. To meet the compliance deadline, AT&T engaged Cleo and evaluated the Cleo Integration Cloud to replace its brittle MFT stack and scale high‑speed, secure transfers into its Dallas and Fairfield data centers.

Cleo implemented the Cleo Integration Cloud — leveraging its accelerated file‑transfer protocol, data‑movement engine, automation/scheduling, multi‑protocol support (including SFTP), and Active/Active clusters — to reliably move tens of thousands of recordings daily. The Cleo solution now ingests about 25,000 audio files per day from 17 vendors (with up to 3 TB nightly from a single partner), delivering improved speed, security, reporting and compliance so AT&T meets FTC requirements and gains a scalable, robust platform for future growth.
