Case Study: PepsiCo transforms maternity care and supports working parents with Cleo

A Cleo Case Study

Preview of the PepsiCo Case Study

How PepsiCo transformed their maternity benefits

PepsiCo, the global food and beverage company with more than 250,000 employees, needed a better way to support working parents than its outdated homegrown maternity program. The existing benefit, part of a traditional health plan, was underused because it didn’t meet employees’ needs during pregnancy, postpartum, and the broader parenting journey.

PepsiCo implemented Cleo Baby from Cleo as a more personalized family benefits platform, connecting parents with dedicated Cleo Guides, expert support, content, and community from pregnancy through a child’s first year. The results were strong: 53% of PepsiCo Baby families engaged with Cleo Guides monthly, 92% connected by phone or video for emotional wellness and care navigation, 80% received 1:1 lactation support, and 40% completed a birth preparation session, contributing to higher employee satisfaction and better support for working parents.
