Creating a Lean, Mean Content Machine to Help Local Businesses

FreshLime is a customer‑connection platform that helps local service businesses (plumbers, real estate, pest control, etc.) drive leads, engagement and retention. To scale ambitious, verticalized content across hundreds of small‑business customers and reduce churn, FreshLime partnered with ClearVoice, adopting the ClearVoice content marketing platform, talent pool and dashboard to quickly onboard contract and in‑house writers.

ClearVoice implemented a blended content team (an in‑house ClearVoice account team of seven plus ~30 freelancers) via its platform to produce roughly 130 pieces of targeted content per month—social posts, email flows (up to 32 emails per customer) and editorial copy. The partnership cut churn in half, increased customer lifetime value, and delivered strong campaign metrics (95,787 marketable contacts, 920,871 engagements sent, 114,968 responses with a 13% average response rate, and a 50% increase in campaign success); a single “Wasps” email generated 3,125 responses, 42 recovered jobs and $11,664 recovered revenue, and FreshLime expects revenue to more than double.
