LightGhost worked with ClearSummit on an augmented reality app that lets people write and draw in the air with a flashlight. The project focused on improving an in-progress light-drawing experience, with challenges around capture quality, processing, usability, and making the app engaging for kids and adults.

ClearSummit refined the video capture and post-processing pipeline, designed the interface, and added gameplay, sharing, and in-app purchase features. The finished app includes 5 light brush effects, 9 colors, freestyle and tracing modes, two games, and social sharing tools that mirror video and preserve branding with a watermark. ClearSummit also noted that people have used LightGhost as a promotional tool, along with creative selfie videos, party games, and family fun.
