JetSpace - Customer Case Study

JetSpace is a technology-focused learning center at Locke High School in Los Angeles that needed a robust mobile app to support creative assignments, peer feedback, and teacher moderation—while working to a very strict school budget. ClearSummit was brought in to design and build the app, using React Native for cross‑platform iOS and Android delivery with a Django-backed server to support admin workflows and media handling.

ClearSummit implemented a clean, social-style app with native camera adjustments where needed, teacher/admin accounts for previewing and approving posts, a points-based student reward system, and restricted commenting to reduce bullying. The app was published to the app stores, delivered on budget thanks to the shared React Native codebase, enabled teachers to moderate content before it goes live, increased positive peer feedback through starring and points, and included ClearSummit engineers Shane & Kara spending time with students to promote coding and technology careers.
