The solution from Clearspeed involved screening applicants and claimants using an automated phone questionnaire that analyzed vocal responses to assign a risk level. This allowed the customer to quickly clear low-risk individuals while flagging high-risk responses for further investigation, helping to stop fraud before a loss occurred. The implementation aimed to fill contractor positions faster while simultaneously lowering claims costs, directly tackling the estimated $200 million annual fraud problem.
