MaiaLearning supports 1 million learners across 70 countries with ClearScale

MaiaLearning, a cloud-based educational platform, needed to upgrade its aging IT infrastructure and core application to incorporate industry best practices. This required framework updates, a move to Drupal 9, and the implementation of a new parallel environment. They engaged ClearScale for support in deploying these environments using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and for performing a security assessment on a new AWS environment.

ClearScale implemented IaC principles using AWS CloudFormation to create duplicate development, staging, and production environments. They synchronized data, updated the Jenkins automation server, and remediated the new application platform. As a result, MaiaLearning successfully upgraded to the latest versions of Drupal, PHP, and MySQL. ClearScale provided the optimized and automated AWS infrastructure needed for MaiaLearning to manage its platform more efficiently and scale to meet increasing global demand.
