DiscoverX Corporation - Customer Case Study

DiscoverX Corporation, a privately held company focused on drug discovery research, wanted to move beyond its client-server delivery model for analytical applications. The company aimed to build a cloud-based SaaS platform that would reduce technical support and IT management overhead, improve availability and resiliency, and give customers a more modern web application experience.

DiscoverX partnered with ClearScale to design and implement the platform on AWS using infrastructure-as-code, DevOps practices, and services including ECS, Elastic Beanstalk, RDS, CloudFormation, and Jenkins. ClearScale also built an Oracle to Postgres data pipeline to keep the legacy and SaaS systems in sync during migration, and the result was a cloud platform with high availability, redundancy, auto scaling, and faster delivery of new analytical products and features.
