DC Thomson Media, a leading UK publisher of newspapers, magazines and comics, faced growing complexity as the business expanded and diversified and needed a single strategy management system to give senior leadership high‑level visibility and accountability across projects, KPIs and activities. In March 2017 they selected ClearPoint Strategy (ClearPoint) to centralize strategy, project and KPI tracking across the organization.

ClearPoint Strategy implemented scorecards to track objectives, projects, KPIs, milestones and action reports, provided KPI dashboards for Operational Board meetings, and automated Excel imports using the Data Loader plus advanced calculations so metrics are always current. As a result DC Thomson Media now runs departmental and senior board meetings directly from ClearPoint, gains timely KPI insights before meetings, has significantly reduced manual data work through scheduled Data Loader runs, and is rolling ClearPoint Strategy out to new acquisitions to extend visibility and accountability.
