The City of Raleigh, NC, a local government serving 464,000+ citizens, needed a way to package vast amounts of data and communicate strategy and performance across departments. To address this, the City developed the “Envision. Enact. Evaluate. Engage.” framework and adopted ClearPoint Strategy’s ClearPoint platform to track their Strategic Plan and 23 departmental business plans.

Using ClearPoint Strategy’s ClearPoint, Raleigh tracks cross-departmental initiatives, runs CORStat performance meetings, and trains staff through its Strategic Planning and Performance Analytics Academy. The solution is actively used by more than 220 people, the Academy covered 20 topics in three years and reached 100% of city departments, and collaborative programs (for example, healthy aging/urban agriculture with local food banks) have been launched—improving alignment, reporting, and stakeholder engagement.
