The City of Arvada, a Colorado local government serving about 120,000 citizens, needed a scalable, easy-to-use performance management solution to align the City Council’s six-year Strategic Plan (FOCUS Arvada) with performance budgeting and better communicate service results to residents. After a competitive process they selected ClearPoint Strategy to provide metric and project management capabilities that could grow with their organization.

ClearPoint Strategy implemented its ClearPoint platform beginning in Spring 2016 for metric management, quarterly STAT meetings, and cross-department project tracking; departments now manage their own measures, link projects to metrics, use Gantt charts and collaboration fields, and leverage standardized templates from the Office of Performance Management. The result has been citywide buy-in, improved accountability and resource allocation, faster process-improvement planning, and public transparency through the FOCUS Arvada Performance Dashboard that shares progress with residents.
