Knight Frank LLP, a London-based residential and commercial property consultancy, needed to upgrade its company-wide SharePoint environment from SharePoint 2007 while managing a very large 700GB content database. ClearPeople was selected to help streamline the migration, using Metalogix Migration Manager and related SharePoint migration tools.

ClearPeople implemented Metalogix StoragePoint to externalize BLOB content and reduce database load, and Selective Restore Manager for SharePoint to simplify item-level recovery without rebuilding a full farm. The result was a dramatic reduction in Knight Frank’s database size from 700GB to 48GB, while also enabling easier restoration of files and documents directly from native SQL backups.
