Holman Fenwick Willan (HFW), an international law firm, needed a better SharePoint knowledge management portal after suffering from very low staff engagement with its previous platform. HFW wanted a more welcoming, visually compelling intranet that would improve access to know-how, precedents, case law, and other key information for lawyers working globally. ClearPeople was selected as the intranet and design implementation partner to help address these challenges.

ClearPeople delivered a new “Holmanet” intranet built in SharePoint 2013, consolidating knowledge documents into SharePoint and integrating with Thomson Elite and Interaction. The solution included refreshed homepages, intelligent search, a People Directory, a Launchpad, and a Knowledge Hub. ClearPeople’s work helped drive major gains in usage, including a 383% increase in document views, a 523% increase in searches, and an 82% increase in page views, with fee earner document views rising from 126 to 608 and searches from 97 to 613.
