Tracking Portable Restrooms Helps Cal-State Site Services Assist in Malibu’s Fire-Cleanup Efforts

Cal-State Site Services, a Southern California provider of temporary fencing and portable restrooms, was contracted to supply up to 100 portable restrooms to support Woolsey Fire cleanup crews. Because crews moved frequently between remote sites, Cal-State struggled to locate and pump out restroom trailers quickly, slowing redeployment — so they turned to ClearPathGPS asset trackers to solve the visibility problem.

Cal-State hardwired ClearPathGPS trackers to each trailer (recharging from the truck battery) and now receives location pings twice a day, every 10 minutes when units are moving, plus tow alerts. The ClearPathGPS trailer-tracking solution gives real-time visibility to direct drivers, ensure timely pump-outs and redeployment, prevent dead trackers in the field, and keep operations running more efficiently and reliably during the cleanup effort.
