SMOOTH, Inc., a Santa Maria–based 501(c)(3) nonprofit that operates more than 30 buses and vans providing paratransit “Dial‑A‑Ride” services for mobility‑impaired residents of the Central Coast, needed to improve safety, efficiency and customer service for its riders.
