With dining-room capacity limited and many businesses at risk, the city needed a fast way to allow expanded outdoor dining on sidewalks, parking spaces, private lots, and streets, including alcohol service.

ClearGov’s ClearForms product helped the Los Angeles Department of Transportation and Mayor’s Office launch a new online permit process in just days. The city automatically issued hundreds of LA Alfresco permits in the first two days, and staff could handle applications, reviews, approvals, communications, and printable licenses remotely within ClearForms.
