Alpharetta, Georgia, used ClearGov to modernize its capital budgeting process. The Public Works department had been managing budget requests manually in Excel, which made it hard to attach supporting documents, tell the full story behind projects, and reduce back-and-forth with finance. The city also needed a better way to share project updates with the public in a clear, easy-to-view format.
ClearGov implemented its Transparency and Capital Budgeting products, giving Alpharetta a centralized, user-friendly system for submitting requests with all supporting documentation, reviewing projects in a dashboard, and publishing project details for citizens. The city reports that budgeting is now faster, easier, and more efficient, with less calendar time and effort, fewer questions from finance, and improved ability to communicate project importance and secure funding.
