Offshore Technical Compliance (OTC), based in Covington, Louisiana, provides offshore digital pressure testing, regulatory compliance inspections and verification services. The company was relying on paper tickets, handwritten time and expense reports, and emailed spreadsheets to track payroll, billing, and job details, which made reconciliation slow, manual, and error-prone. OTC needed a faster way to capture accurate field data in real time, reduce duplicate processes, and match payroll and invoicing for complex offshore jobs.
Cleargistix implemented a configurable digital ticketing and reporting workflow for OTC, starting with dispatch and then adding daily updates, charge lines, signatures, offline data entry, and customized periodic ticket approval. The solution gave field experts a single place to enter data that fed both payroll and billing, while also automating reports and improving review accuracy. The impact was significant: payroll processing was cut from 40 hours per two-week pay period to 20 hours, field data entry dropped from 30-60 minutes a day to about five minutes, and payroll keypunching saved OTC about 200 hours per year. Cleargistix also improved accuracy, sped up approvals, and gave OTC more confidence in its information.
