CareCloud, a provider of cloud-based revenue cycle management, practice management, EHR, and patient engagement solutions for medical groups, needed to move beyond physical data centers to improve innovation, scalability, and DevOps speed while maintaining HIPAA compliance. To meet those goals, CareCloud worked with ClearDATA to move its SaaS platform to the cloud, using AWS-based infrastructure that could support heavy real-time processing and rapid traffic spikes.

ClearDATA implemented CareCloud’s platform on the ClearDATA Healthcare Managed Cloud on AWS, using services such as Amazon EC2, Amazon RDS, Amazon Kinesis Streams, Amazon S3, and Amazon Glacier, along with ClearDATA’s Compliance Dashboard and DevSecOps tools. The result was a four-hour migration, noticeable performance improvement, zero-downtime deployments, 99.99% availability, faster provisioning, and stronger HIPAA compliance visibility, enabling CareCloud to focus more on building new features.
