Purina coaches 18 startups and scales 5 PoCs with CLEAR

Purina faced competitive pressure from disruptive startups and other pet care accelerators. They launched the Unleashed Accelerator Lab to find new ways of creating growth but needed a partner to support the program and its startups for long-term success. They partnered with vendor CLEAR M&C Saatchi for accelerator program design and agile methodology support.

CLEAR helped define roles and a framework for the six-month incubator program, introducing agile methodologies to guide startups from kick-off to concept validation. They provided audits, research, and workshop support, and acted as a Scrum master. The results were significant; CLEAR coached 18 startups and helped nurture five successful proofs-of-concept for scaling by the Nestlé Venture Fund. The program, which receives over 200 applications for six spots annually, is acknowledged as a best-practice example within the global Nestlé ecosystem.
