Tampa General Hospital, a 1,000+ bed teaching hospital and leading organ transplant center in Tampa, needed better visibility into its physical, non-pharmaceutical assets—beds, tables and other equipment—and struggled with tracking what was in use versus in storage, asset dates, and inbound inventory. Clear Spider implemented a straightforward inventory solution with inbound inventory tracking, date tracking, and asset location tracking so Tampa General can log items, see which assets are in storage or on-site, and track new arrivals to identify older units for removal. As a result, Clear Spider enabled Tampa General Hospital to easily identify items that need replacement or are limited in quantity and to maintain a complete record of all assets and their locations, improving operational readiness and asset lifecycle management.
