Harris Products Group, a global leader in metal‑working products headquartered in Mason, Ohio, faced challenges servicing a diverse customer base with minimal inventory visibility and the need to integrate with multiple ERP systems. To address these issues, Harris selected Clear Spider to provide a robust vendor‑managed inventory and inventory management gateway between its customers’ ERP systems and Harris’s internal systems.

Clear Spider implemented integrations (EDI, SAP) that regularly feed customer inventory status and planning parameters into its platform, ran replan and replenishment functions to create and acknowledge replenishment orders, and automatically generated purchase orders for fulfillment in Harris’s system. As a result, Clear Spider enabled quicker reactions to customer needs, real‑time visibility into customers’ inventories, automated receipt and processing of ERP data, and automatic purchase order creation and fulfillment.
