The Cochran Firm Minnesota needed to announce its arrival in the Twin Cities legal market in late 2008 and build business quickly, but many competitors relied on radio and TV. The firm engaged Clear Channel Outdoor to reach urban residents using outdoor poster advertising (Attorneys / Legal; Format: Posters) as a differentiated, direct-response medium.
Clear Channel Outdoor reallocated funds from radio/TV to a 52‑week campaign of over 60 posters, geographically targeting urban areas with simple, direct-response creative. The Clear Channel Outdoor campaign drove an immediate, noticeable increase in business, generated press coverage in the StarTribune, and led to discussions of a national Outdoor program for Cochran Firm affiliates at the March 2009 meeting.
