UCare, a nonprofit health plan providing coverage to about 160,000 Minnesotans and Minnesota’s 4th largest health plan, needed to build its brand by influencing prospects and members at the point of care. To reach people where they make health decisions, UCare partnered with Clear Channel Outdoor to leverage out-of-home advertising for its health insurance product using large-format bulletins.

Working with a Clear Channel Outdoor account executive, UCare ran a geo-targeted bulletin campaign placed near hospitals, clinics, and doctors’ offices; bulletins were selected for their impact, visibility, and continuity. The campaign was “well received,” and UCare reports it enabled localized, efficient targeting of customers and prospects, meeting the organization’s branding goals.
