Trinity Baptist Church welcomes increased awareness with digital OOH

Trinity Baptist Church had traditionally relied on direct mail to promote its Easter Sunday services and wanted to boost awareness in 2012 without abandoning that approach. Working with Clear Channel Outdoor, the church used digital billboards to extend reach beyond its mailings and better target people where they live, work and commute.

Clear Channel Outdoor executed a geographically targeted campaign featuring one digital billboard for the week leading up to Easter, paired with the church’s direct mail creative (a warm, family-focused “welcome” design). The campaign generated measurable lift—Trinity tracked 100 direct responses to a custom URL attributed to the billboard-plus-mail effort—and Clear Channel Outdoor reported solid increases in overall awareness.
