FirstBank partnered with Clear Channel Outdoor to extend its out-of-home media plan into Denver International Airport using Airport Dioramas and Airport Spectaculars. The challenge was to put the bank in front of millions of annual Denver travelers—an affluent, highly sought-after but time-sensitive audience—by creating high-impact airport exposure.
Clear Channel Outdoor ran Diorama and Spectacular creative headlined “Free Books,” “Free Crosswords,” and “Free Sudoku” with QR codes linking to downloads of 12 classic novels and a variety of games. The QR-code airport campaign generated significant earned media—including coverage in The New York Times—delivered broad airport reach, and, according to the agency, could not have been properly executed without Clear Channel Outdoor.
