Outdoor Product Mix Helps Taco Bell Outperform

Taco Bell - Milwaukee Co-op partnered with Clear Channel Outdoor to address three campaign objectives: keep Taco Bell top of mind to drive transactions, promote new and limited‑time offers, and support/defend/grow critical dining dayparts. The Co-op used Clear Channel Outdoor’s outdoor product mix—digital billboards and targeted posters—for its restaurant advertising across the market.

Clear Channel Outdoor implemented a DMA‑wide program combining its digital network and targeted posters to cover all Taco Bell trading areas in Milwaukee across 12 consecutive promotional periods, plus special digital creative near Miller Park for game‑day promotions. The result: Milwaukee Taco Bell’s top‑line sales and the sales mix of promoted products consistently outperformed system averages; franchisees credit the Clear Channel Outdoor campaign with driving these gains, and the program has been rolled out to other DMAs.
