Maxim Crane Works’ Dedication to Excellent Customer Service Leads to C2CRM

Maxim Crane Works, the world’s largest full‑service crane rental company, needed a unified way to maintain personalized customer service across very long sales cycles, track project leads and shifting job schedules, and improve fleet deployment and lead follow‑up during a construction industry downturn. To address these challenges they selected Clear C2 and its C2 CRM solution, deployed on the IBM eServer iSeries, to give sales and management historical and current data on customers, construction sites and partners.

Clear C2 implemented C2 CRM beginning with a 40‑user pilot (later expanded by 100 additional licenses for a companywide rollout) and supported adoption with training. The system standardized selling, improved activity tracking and reporting, and helped Maxim increase the number of jobs won through focused lead follow‑up. Clear C2’s job‑tracking and forecasting capabilities also enabled better monitoring of active projects across the U.S. and more accurate fleet‑utilization and regional deployment decisions.
