International Rescue Committee cuts health data analysis from a full day to under 30 minutes with Claude

The International Rescue Committee (IRC) faced a challenge in making data-driven decisions for its health programs across 40 countries. Health data was collected in fragmented, inconsistent paper and digital formats by various national ministries of health, making it time-consuming to analyze and often causing critical insights to be missed. To address this, the IRC implemented Claude Enterprise from vendor Claude.

Using Claude, the IRC built offline HTML dashboards that staff could use to visualize data via a simple drag-and-drop workflow, with no coding or internet connection required. The solution saved time for every user in a pilot program, with half saving four or more hours per month. The dashboards provided actionable insights, such as validating the success of a youth outreach program and identifying a previously unseen gap in maternal healthcare, leading to faster and more informed decision-making.
