Preview of the International Rescue Committee (IRC) Case Study

International Rescue Committee creates HTML dashboards in 20 minutes with Claude

The International Rescue Committee (IRC) faced a significant challenge in utilizing frontline health data across its operations in sub-Saharan Africa. Due to inconsistent data formats from paper tally sheets, lack of connectivity, and limited resources, creating actionable visualizations from this data was a manual, costly, and insurmountable process at scale. The IRC partnered with Anthropic and its product, Claude Enterprise, to pilot a solution for this problem in Burkina Faso.

Using Claude, the IRC team was able to quickly create a lightweight, offline HTML dashboard template from natural language prompts. This allowed local measurement specialists to easily generate and adapt high-quality visualizations without coding or an internet connection. The solution was immediately adopted, enabling health teams to make data-driven decisions that improved outcomes, such as confirming the success of a modified STI outreach program for youth. The pilot's success has led to organic demand from other teams, proving to the previously AI-skeptical organization that Anthropic's Claude could effectively turn inconsistent data into actionable insight.
