A ClassLink Case Study
The School District of Pickens County in South Carolina serves 16,000 students across 24 schools and needed a way to keep learning going during weather-related closures. Ice storms and hurricanes disrupted instruction, and students often returned having forgotten prior lessons. The district used ClassLink LaunchPad as a single sign-on solution to give students easy access to digital learning resources.
ClassLink helped Pickens County pilot digital learning days by providing a familiar SSO portal so students could log in from home on any device and continue their work. The approach was successful enough that digital learning days became the district’s new norm, with parents praising the effort and educators seeing students stay engaged during closures. ClassLink played a key role in ensuring instruction continued despite weather disruptions.
