Making the move from Print to Digital Resources with BYOD

Farmingdale Public Schools, a K–12 district serving over 5,000 students across six schools, wanted to support its BYOD initiative and make it easier for students and teachers to access digital resources on iPads, Chromebooks, Samsung tablets, and other devices. The district struggled with multiple logins and fragmented access across platforms, which created frustration and took time away from learning. ClassLink’s LaunchPad was used to help centralize access.

ClassLink provided Farmingdale Public Schools with a web-based single sign-on solution through LaunchPad, giving students and staff one place to reach their digital tools from any device or location. The result was fewer login problems, faster access to resources, and stronger engagement with digital learning. According to the case study, the easier access helped students complete more meaningful projects and assignments, supporting the district’s broader edtech goals.
