Leon County Schools - Customer Case Study

Leon County Schools, a K–12 district in Tallahassee, Florida, serves 34,000 students across 62 schools and needed a better way to manage access to digital learning tools. With many platforms requiring separate logins, students and teachers lost instructional time, software use suffered, and younger students had particular trouble accessing digital textbooks and other resources. The district used ClassLink LaunchPad to address these challenges.

ClassLink implemented single sign-on for students, teachers, and staff, and added QuickCards, a QR code-based login system that lets younger students sign in by holding up a card to a camera. Leon County Schools helped refine the QuickCards experience, and ClassLink built a streamlined app within 24 hours to meet the district’s needs. The result was easier, more independent access for early learners and less login support for teachers, with the district reporting that it recovered up to 30–40 minutes per day.
