Laramie County Community College - Customer Case Study

Laramie County Community College, a public community college in Cheyenne, Wyoming, needed a better way to streamline access to digital resources for nearly 5,000 students and over 700 faculty and staff. The college was dealing with frequent login problems across multiple applications, which frustrated users and created a heavy burden of password reset requests for IT. It turned to ClassLink, using LaunchPad, Analytics, and My Files, to address these access and support challenges.

ClassLink helped LCCC launch a single sign-on portal called myLCCC, giving users one login for applications and files from any device and reducing help desk calls through built-in password management. ClassLink My Files also removed the need for VPN logins to access school network files remotely, while ClassLink Analytics gave the IT Governance Committee better data for software renewal and implementation decisions. Since implementing ClassLink, password reset requests have decreased dramatically, and the college reported that the SSO rollout was easy and highly effective.
