How This West Virginia District Created a Secure and Sustainable 1:1 Digital Learning Environment

Doddridge County Schools, a West Virginia K–12 district serving about 1,100 students, was struggling with time-consuming login processes, too many usernames and passwords, and growing support demands that pulled teachers and IT staff away from instruction and other technical work. The district used ClassLink products including OneSync and Roster Server to address these access and identity management challenges.

ClassLink implemented single sign-on and rostering to create a one-stop shop for students and staff, making it much easier to access digital learning tools and reducing the need for password resets and manual logins. As a result, Doddridge County Schools saved instructional time, lowered IT workload, and improved security by reducing the need to write down and manage credentials; teachers reported that ClassLink freed up classroom time for learning instead of logging into individual applications.
