How This Kentucky District Transformed Identity and Access Management With ClassLink

Estill County Schools, a Kentucky K–12 district serving about 2,300 students and 450 staff, was spending too much time on manual identity and access management. IT staff had to spend two to three hours a day fixing and updating student and staff accounts, provisioning applications, and managing data changes, especially during back-to-school season. ClassLink helped address this challenge with its OneSync and Roster Server products.

With ClassLink’s OneSync and Roster Server, Estill County Schools automated account provisioning, rostering, and data updates across systems like Active Directory, Google, and Infinite Campus. The district reduced manual work, improved student and staff access to learning tools, and freed IT staff to focus on security and other support needs. Jeremy Simpson said the automation “makes our lives easier” and improves the end user’s experience, while also enabling quick security camera access based on job title.
