A ClassLink Case Study
Sacred Heart Major Seminary, a 100-year-old seminary in Detroit serving about 615 students, relied on a small two-person IT team to support online learning and research tools. The school struggled with frequent password resets that left students locked out of critical systems, sometimes over weekends, and needed an affordable self-service way to reduce support demand. The seminary used ClassLink’s LaunchPad product to address these access issues.
ClassLink implemented self-service password reset and helped centralize access to digital resources, including library databases and research journals, with custom authentication support for the seminary’s library systems. As a result, Sacred Heart Major Seminary saw fewer helpdesk tickets for password resets and requests for finding resources, allowing the IT team to focus on other needs and reduce response times. ClassLink became a simple, efficient access solution that improved usability for students and staff.
