Boise Switches to ClassLink to Streamline Access and Roster Delivery

Boise School District, serving 26,240 students across 46 schools in Boise, ID, needed a better way to manage password resets, forgotten passwords, and the manual rostering of digital resources. After piloting Clever, the district looked for a more flexible and comprehensive single sign-on solution, and chose ClassLink, using LaunchPad and Roster Server.

ClassLink implemented district-level rostering built on open data standards, streamlined access to school resources and files, and made logins easier with QuickCards for younger students. The district also set ClassLink as the homepage on user devices, which increased resource usage, especially among middle school students, and IT staff saw a major reduction in rostering workload. Boise School District said ClassLink made daily access to school resources and administrative programs “so effortless now.”
