Transitioning From High School to College With Class

Delaware State University faced the challenge of adapting to a growing student population while transitioning its vital University Seminar course to a permanent online format. After growing during the pandemic, the university needed a scalable virtual learning solution that could improve student engagement and effectively replicate the in-person classroom experience, moving beyond tools suited only for asynchronous learning.

They implemented Class, tracking, enhanced breakout rooms, and seamless LMS integration, which significantly improved student engagement and offered greater flexibility. As a result, both instructors and students enjoyed the platform, with some instructors requesting to use Class for other courses, and the university is now enhancing the seminar into a career development course.
