A Class Charts Case Study

St Helena School - Customer Case Study

St Helena School faced inconsistent application of its behaviour policy, low staff uptake of a “clunky” behaviour and detention system, and limited parent engagement. Curriculum and assessment manager Mari Sutherland introduced Class Charts (alongside other EduKey products) to create a transparent, easy-to-use approach to recording behaviour, rewards and interventions.

Class Charts provided visible behaviour tracking, positive points and rewards, automatic parent alerts for lateness, and integration with Provision Maps to flag pupil premium, SEN and high prior attainers. As a result, St Helena achieved a ‘good’ in the behaviour category and went on to an overall ‘good’ Ofsted grade, saw increased staff and parent engagement, reduced paperwork and better-targeted teaching; the school continues to adopt additional EduKey modules.
