A Class Charts Case Study

Bryn Celynnog - Customer Case Study

Bryn Celynnog, a suburban comprehensive school in Wales with 1,211 pupils, was struggling to process and interpret pupil behaviour and achievement data—putting the information together took about 70 hours and lacked transparency, according to attendance improvement manager Hayley Jacobs. To address this, the school adopted Class Charts (alongside the Provision Map tool) to centralise behaviour, rewards and performance data.

Class Charts delivered instant, transparent reports, seating plans and a points‑based rewards system parents can view, enabling earlier interventions, stronger parental engagement and noticeable improvements in positive behaviour. Used with Provision Map to track Gatsby Benchmarks, Class Charts cut cumbersome data consolidation to “at the click of a button,” became central to SMT reporting, saved significant staff time and helped Bryn Celynnog roll out targeted interventions and enrichment more effectively.
