A Claroty Case Study
Center for Diagnostic Imaging (CDI), a large healthcare-imaging provider with more than 280 locations, needed a better way to manage remote assets and security across a geographically diverse, mobile environment. CDI faced challenges with maintaining an accurate inventory of connected devices, scaling maintenance and remediation, improving collaboration with biomed and finance teams, and standardizing asset performance reporting. To address these needs, CDI selected Claroty to support its medical device management and cybersecurity efforts, alongside existing tools such as Rapid7 and Cisco ISE.
Claroty helped CDI establish a dynamic, fully attributed inventory of connected assets by securing access to network traffic flows and building a common data foundation. The solution enabled dynamic risk scoring, integrated vulnerability and threat correlation, and device utilization insights to improve capital planning and resource allocation. With Claroty’s bi-directional integration to Rapid7 and dynamic device profiling for Cisco ISE, CDI improved identity-based scanning, maintenance coordination, asset uptime/availability, and security enforcement through automated policies and Security Group Tags (SGTs).
