SROcalendar, a provider of compliance recording systems, spent years building a detailed electronic filing system—sample compliance documents, a calendar of events and audit preparation tools—but struggled to securely share and manage those materials at scale. Their challenge was building an application to handle document management, audit logs, user roles, alerts and scheduled updates while turning the internal system into a marketable product. Clarity was engaged to design a modular website and application (SEC, FINRA, NFA and MSRB modules) to address these needs.

Clarity delivered a .NET back end with Silverlight-based sync and Amazon S3 storage that lets users download and digitally sign documents, automatically syncs and archives copies, pushes alerts and regulatory updates, supports delegated roles and includes an integrated forum; Clarity also produced the marketing site and demo videos. As a result, SROcalendar monetized its seven years of work, can centrally push compliance updates to every client, simplify demos and sales, and reduce time spent on compliance without sacrificing standards — with SEC 17a-3/17a-4 WORM-compliant, encrypted storage.
